31 Race Circuit Round 2 at the Vice Admiral's Cup
Updated: May 18, 2022

The Cape 31 Class are days away from the 2022 Royal Ocean Racing Club Vice Admiral's Cup. The Solent-based, inshore regatta (primarily for one-design classes) brings together seven classes for three days of intense, close racing across two courses.
After being the newest class to join the event in 2021 - the Cape 31 Class is now the biggest in the regatta. We have two new boats joining the fleet, Gelert and Antix. They have both arrived and been commissioned in the last few weeks. The Arabella team chartering Gallivanter whilst they wait for their boat to be shipped home from their Caribbean adventure.
After only having one day of racing at Poole Regatta the teams are excited at the prospect of 3 days of close racing this weekend. With up to 4 races a day it's going to be busy on the Solent particularly with 13/14 Cape 31's tearing it up.
Will Shotgunn carry on their momentum from Poole or will another new team come and make their presence know. With the Squirt team back in the game the Peters family will no doubt be looking to make up for unfortunately having to pull out of Round 1.
Stay tuned on Instagram/Facebook over the weekend for updates. Programme below.
